Sing with us
Since October 13 we've been getting ready for Christmas!
The German heritage of music for the winter holidays is long and glorious,
and we hope you'll join us in celebrating the season.
Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7 to 9pm at the Germanic-American Institute, 301 Summit Ave, Saint Paul (map).
We're happy to welcome new singers high school age and up, regardless of your choral experience.
We sing in mostly in German, and we have several singers who are native speakers who help us understand what we're singing and how to pronounce it. If you'd like to sing better in German, this is the group to join!
Our music includes folksongs from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and even America! We also do some pop songs and classical. Beethoven's 5th Symphony? Singing it!
We usually sing at Christmastime, on Good Friday, and at the annual Deutsche Tage and Oktoberfest celebrations. Our rehearsals are fun, a little challenging, and richly rewarding. It's the best night of the week. Our singers are the friendliest people in town!
